Texas State Official and Unofficial Transcripts
An official transcript is the University’s certified statement of your academic record. It is an inventory of courses taken at Texas State University, earned grades and semesters they were taken, along with any awarded degrees and/or certificates. Any courses transferred to TXST and accepted as credit will also appear as part of your academic record. Each official transcript will include your entire academic record in all levels (undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, specialist, and/or post baccalaureate) with the highest-level transcript and associated degrees and coursework appearing first.

Students sending their transcripts to application services such as AMCAS, LSAC, NCARB, SOPHAS, AACOMAS or other professional certification, examination, and licensing agencies, will be able to provide any application service ID or upload required forms while ordering through Parchment. Parchment provides a list of established agencies to select from within the order form.
Texas State University will resend a transcript to the same address at no charge after 15 days and up to 30 days from the date of initial order. Requests for resend before 15 days and after 30 days of initial order will require you to submit another order through Parchment.com.
If you are registered or expect to graduate in the current semester, we encourage you to check your unofficial transcript in Texas State Self-Service prior to placing an order. Students can request transcript orders to be held until grades/degrees for the current term have been posted. The Office of the University Registrar will not authorize a reprint of official transcripts because of a failure to do so.
If a requested transcript is not delivered due to University error, we will gladly provide a replacement transcript at no additional cost. We cannot accept responsibility for non-delivery if the mailing or email address provided is either incomplete or incorrect, nor can we accept responsibility for timely delivery by the US Post Office, FedEx, or any other mail carrier vendor.
